Located at just 65-miles south of Washington DC, it borders the Wilderness Battlefield Monument of Fredericksburg and several historical areas can be found near the resort as well as the vast amusement park, Kings Dominion. The area is a veritable wealth of nearby sightseeing destinations that are all within a short drive.
The Resort offers a variety of wonderful amenities on-site including boating, fishing and canoeing on the lakes; gigantic family pools, tennis courts and a softball field; several playgrounds, a complete indoor recreation center and exercise facility, a mini golf, a general store, and weekly planned activities for all ages. The warm and rustic log cabins are fully equipped two-bedroom units with living and dining rooms and a fully equipped kitchen that will accommodate up to six people. The cabins are located on or near the Hazel Grove Lake and their southern-style porch will allow guests to enjoy the nature and the magnificient view of Hazel Grove Lake.
