Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which clients may cancel services provided by Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc (GML).

Services under these terms and conditions are non-exclusive and clients are free to advertise, promote or sell by any other means than through GML's services.

Clients are encouraged to review this policy prior to purchasing any services.

1. General Policy

Clients may request to cancel their service at any time by submitting a written request via email or through the contact form on this page.

All cancellation requests must include the client’s name and sufficient details like the adverstisement number to identify the service agreement.

Unless otherwise stated, fees for services are non-refundable once services have commenced.

2. Advertising Services – Option 1

Advertising services are provided for the purpose of promoting a client’s property on our platform.

Although the general service agreement references a duration of two (2) years, advertising listings are typically maintained as long as the property remains available or until the client requests removal.

  • Clients may request removal of their listing at any time
  • Removal of a listing does not entitle the client to a refund
  • Fees are non-refundable once advertising services have been initiated

Early cancellation or removal does not extend, suspend, or renew any service term.

3. Advertising & Marketing Services – Option 2

Marketing and transfer assistance services are provided under a service agreement with a maximum duration of two (2) years. This duration is established to ensure that the applicable terms, conditions, and administrative fees remain valid and enforceable within a defined period, particularly in light of potential revisions over time.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, property listings may remain published on the website beyond this period without requiring renewal fees, provided the property remains available. Clients are responsible for notifying Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. of any changes and for ensuring that all listing information remains accurate and up to date.

During the term of the agreement, Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. may provide marketing assistance and, where applicable, support in coordinating the transfer of ownership in accordance with the procedures established by the relevant resort, management company, or governing entity.

  • Fees are non-refundable once services have commenced;
  • Cancellation does not apply to services already delivered;
  • Administrative or transfer-related fees may still apply if a transaction is in progress.

Clients may request cancellation at any time; however, cancellation does not retroactively affect services already performed.

All transfer processes are subject to the requirements, approvals, and conditions imposed by the applicable resort, management company, or governing entity. Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. does not guarantee the completion, timing, or outcome of any transfer.

4. Transaction and Transfer Services

Where applicable, Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. Inc. may assist in coordinating the transfer of ownership between buyer and seller in accordance with resort or program requirements.

Funds received from buyers will be held in a secure trust account until all transaction conditions have been satisfied, including documentation, approvals, and applicable fees. This process also ensures an additional protection for a full refund to the buyer should transfer procedures were to fail at the resort level.

Funds will only be released once all agreed conditions have been fulfilled.

5. Buyer Rescission Period (Cooling-Off Period)

Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. provides buyers with a rescission (cooling-off) period of fourteen (14) days from the date on which funds have been received and deposited into our trust account.

During this period, buyers may request cancellation of the transaction for any reason by submitting a written notice either by email or mail.

Funds held in trust will be refunded in full to the buyer

After the expiration of the 14-day rescission period, transfer process will start and cancellation, in accordance with the agreed transaction terms, may no longer be eligible for refund.

This rescission period is provided in accordance with general consumer protection practices and does not override mandatory rights under applicable laws.

Buyer deposits made toward the purchase of a listed property are protected, including after the expiration of the rescission period, in the event that the transfer of ownership cannot be completed due to refusal, restriction, or inability on the part of the resort, management company, or governing entity. In such circumstances, all funds held in trust shall be returned in full to the buyer.

Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. makes no representations or warranties regarding the outcome of any transfer process conducted at the resort or governing entity level, including but not limited to the transferability of ownership, associated rights or benefits, or the applicability of additional fees. While reasonable efforts are made to inform clients of known procedures and requirements, Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. shall not be held liable for any decisions, conditions, delays, or fees imposed by the resort, management company, or any third-party administrative entity.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc. (GML) does not guarantee:

  • The sale or rental of any property, at a specific price or within a specific timeframe
  • The transfer execution within a specific timeframe with a specific resort's administration, management company or third-party administrative entity.
  • Cancellation of services by the buyer does not entitle the seller to a refund based on the outcome of the service, including the absence of a sale or rental, of failure of the transfer process.

Refunds are not granted based on the outcome of the service.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

Any requests for exceptions to this policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Le Groupe Marketing Laurentides Inc (GML).
