Lakeview is a great golf resort and offers 2 award-winning courses to choose from.  The Lakeview Course,designed by James Harrison and completed in 1954, is rated four stars by the Golf Digest.  It offers an intricate tree-lined design, featuring large undulating greens, tight fairways and scenic views onto Cheat Lake.  It also has two signature holes: the 564-yard 7th that features a 180-foot vertical drop from tee to green that offers a panoramic view on the surroundings and, the 620-yard 18th, one of the most challenging par fives that no one has yet to reach in two! In short, it offers the “ultimate” challenge for golfers.
Then, the spectacular Mountainview Course winds through the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and offers tight landing areas, scenic views and gently rolling fairways. It’s a favorite among players of all levels.  The Mountainview Course’s 6,447 yards long is rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest.
